SCHROEDER'S 20TH ANNUAL MEN'S SUMMER BASH

PRIZE MONEY TOURNAMENT

AUGUST 4-6, 2017

 Don't forget to sign up for this fun men's tournament! Registration for this event closes Tuesday,      August 1 at midnight. This is a sanctioned USTA event that attracts top players from around the Midwest to come and compete. The tournament ID# is 850132217. The cost for singles is $38.13 and the doubles cost is $28. We will have a cookout Friday evening and a luncheon on Saturday afternoon. All STC members are invited to come watch some great tennis and enjoy some food and fellowship!

NEW SESSION BEGINS

MONDAY, AUGUST 21, 2017

 Even though summer seems to just be getting started....it's time to start thinking about fall. Our fall session of classes will begin on Monday, August 21. The session will run from August 21 thru October 29. 

Remember....if you took a summer class then you will get 15% off a fall class, if you were in a summer clinic then you get 15% off a fall clinic, and if you were in a summer league then you get 15% off a fall league. BUT...to get the discount you need to sign up and pay by Sunday, August 20!!

FALL PERMANENT COURT TIME

It's time to schedule permanent court time for fall!

Evenings in the fall are a busy time at STC. Permanent court time is a great way to secure your preferred court and playing time each week. We have two start dates available for our fall session of permanent court times. You will be able to start either the week of August 21 or the week of September 5. Let us know what you are interested in doing so that we can begin the scheduling process!

IT'S TIME...GMVTA ADULT LEAGUES THIS FALL

GMVTA is the Greater Miami Valley Tennis Association. The GMVTA Adult League Team Tennis starts in September. The competition is between all the local area tennis clubs. Matches are played on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We also have some ladies daytime teams. If you are interested in playing on one of these teams, please give the club a call or let your captain know.

If you are a returning team, please call or email the club to commit your team to the fall league.

USTA JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS FINALS

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5, 2017

AT SCHROEDER TENNIS CENTER

 The USTA Junior Team Tennis Finals are coming soon....Saturday, August 5!! The matches will begin at 9am. The top 2 teams in each division play for the championship.

The following is the schedule for the finals:

9:30am   10s Intermediate

10:30am   10s Advanced

12:30pm   12s

1:30pm   14s

3:30pm   18s

Congratulations to EVERYONE competing in the finals! THANK YOU to all of the participants and parents who helped captain and make this a successful Junior Team Tennis summer!

4.5 MENS TEAM AT DISTRICTS!

Schroeder's 4.5 Mens Team from the Winter USTA will be competing in the Ohio Valley District Championships THIS weekend in Dayton at Quail Run and Five Seasons. The team will play on Friday at Quail Run at 3:30pm, Saturday at Quail Run at 2:30pm, and Sunday at Five Seasons at 9:30am.
