Schroeder Tennis Center Annual Club Championship Results
Our annual club championship singles and doubles tournament was held the weekend of August 22-23. Congratulations to all our club members who competed. Here are the results: Doubles Divisions:

Girls High School Invitational held at Schroeder Tennis Center August 29th
Our club hosted a special day for eight local high school teams who competed in some great match play to begin their fall seasons. The results of this showcase event are as follows: Overall Team Results

JUNIOR Schedule Permanent Court Times begin September 8th
Just a reminder to everyone that all seasonal court times begin next week!
QuickStart Tennis, a special program for young children using smaller courts and foam balls was a hugh success this summer! The Miami Valley Community Tennis Association sponsored this new USTA program at the Tipp City and Troy Parks this summer and had 132 kids participate. They had a great time learning this fun sport. Schroeder Tennis Center invites all summer QuickStart participants and their parents to a special six week continuation program to be held right here at the club.
This new league will begin this Saturday Sept 5th and continue 6 weeks through October 10th. The cost is only $49.

Also for parents and any adults bringing the kids, we are offering a 6 week Adult Beginner Tennis Class for the same price of $49 at the same time so you can learn the game too and join in the fun! Call the club to register today.
GMVTA League Matches begin weekend of Sept 12th
Schroeder Tennis Center has 16 teams, both Mens and Womens at all skill levels competing against other area clubs in the fall GMVTA League. Match play begins next weekend, September 12 and 13. If you are not on a team yet and want to be, contact Bud and he will help get you in touch with a team captain.
Congratulations to our members who are going to the 3.5 Senior Women Nationals in Indian Wells, California!!!
We want to congratulate these ladies from our club who play in the USTA Senior 3.5 Womens League and have achieved a great accomplishment. They began summer by winning the local Dayton league, then went on to win the District competition, then the State competition and this past weekend they became the Senior 3.5 Women Midwest Section Champions!!!!
Now they head to Indian Wells, CA, October 23rd - 25th to compete in Nationals! Congratulations. We are proud of you all! Roxie Ballard

Junior High Team Tennis
Calling all players in grades 5 - 8! We are forming teams for a fun match play league to be held on Saturdays October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, November 7, 14, 21, December 5 and 12. Match times will vary between 10am and 3pm each week depending on the schedule. Teams will be by city or school as much as possible. You don't need to play every week to be on a team. Players will be scheduled by a parent team coordinator. You may sign up in the lobby on the clipboard with your school name or at the front desk and we will put you on a team. Cost is $14 per match for members and $16 per match for non-members. You can pick up an info sheet in our lobby for more details or contact Sharon Paul for more info.
