CALLING ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS PLAYERS! We are offering a new conditioning class on Saturdays from 2:00pm-3:00pm, starting April 29, for five weeks. The dates of the class will be: 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, and 5/27. Come try the first class on April 29th for FREE! If the class is a good fit, you can take the remaining 4 classes for $55. The class will be taught by Melanie Redd, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer for PowerGlow Fitness. Melanie specializes in strength training. You can check out Melanie's website at powerglowfitness.com. The workouts will focus on improving power, mobility, and stability safely and effectively. The club offers several options to fit your schedule during the busy summer months....the following teams are for men and women.... Mixed Doubles: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 Played on Friday Evenings Combo Teams: 6.5, 7.5, 8.5 Played on Sundays 40 & Over Teams: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 8.0 Played on Saturday Afternoons (Mixed 40 & over is played on Sundays at 7pm)
55 & Over Teams: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 Played on Saturday Mornings 65 & Over Teams: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 Played on Monday Daytime If you would like to sign up or if you have any questions regarding the summer USTA teams, please give the club a call at 669-5552. | | JUNIOR USTA: | | USTA JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS Summer USTA Junior Team Tennis has teams for ALL age groups with different levels within the brackets! There are teams for 10s, 12s, 14s, and 18s. Matches start in June and end the first Wednesday in August, they are played on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You are not required to be at every match. The matches are played against other clubs and the teams travel to local clubs to compete as well as play at STC. The Junior USTA League uses parents as the team captain, so if you are interested in captaining, please give Bud a call. | | PCT & LEAGUES: | | LET'S MAKE SUMMER PLANS... Permanent Court Times need to be reserved. If you want that same court time to play some tennis EVERY week, call the club to discuss starting a permanent court time. For the summer months, buy the summer pass and the permanent court time cost is FREE to our members! Also, FREE with the summer pass is the leagues...get your group together and reserve your weekly league. So now it is time for Friday Night Late Night to come to an end. | | INVOICES: | | STC IMPLEMENTING NEW BILLS Beginning with May's billing, STC will be sending out your bill via email (from billing@schroedertennis.com), in hopes of transitioning to online billing over the next couple months. You will receive a bill in the mail (a hard copy) as well as a bill in your email. The two bills should have the same amount due! The club is asking for your patience through this transition as well as your help. Over the next couple weeks, please verify that the club has your accurate email address. Then, if you receive a bill in the mail and not by email, please call the club and let us know.
