USTA 10 and Under Tournament What a great tournament! We had 17 kids come out to participate in the USTA 10 and Under Tournament this past Saturday, February 11. The kids had a great time competing in a tournament format...this was the first tournament for many of the kids...and they did a fantastic job. Congratulations to Ellie Waibel from Tipp City on her win in the Orange Ball division and to Nimai Bhat from Westerville on his win in the Green Dot Ball division! COME OUT AND WATCH SOME TENNIS!!! Schroeder Tennis Center is hosting a college tennis match on Saturday, February 18, 2017 for Wittenberg University! The doubles matches start at 6pm, and the singles matches start at 7pm. Come have fun supporting some local college students! |

Come practice playing some singles and doubles matches. This is a casual fun event where the kids can practice match play skills. The cost will be $12/player. BUD: |
FURTHER EDUCATION...... Bud Schroeder (owner of STC) has been busy going back to "school". Recently, Bud completed six courses with the USPTA specific to the 10 and under age group. Last weekend, he traveled to the USPTA conference in Detroit, Michigan where he attended eight seminars such as "Training Tennis Players to Become Leaders", "Athletic Enhancement and Player Identification", and "Footwork Parameters & Terminology". Bud was also recently awarded the status of "Elite Professional" by the United States Professional Tennis Association. Bud strives to constantly be advancing his own knowledge in the game of tennis! |
